StandingTall

Cosy Companion is partnering with StandingTall to encourage volunteers to support and accompany suitable residents in doing standing tall exercises.

Wahroonga's HammondCare journey
As the founder of Cosy Companion, I was particularly inspired from my experience volunteering with HammondCare Wahroonga for the past year and a half. This was a dementia home that had beautiful residents. I thoroughly enjoyed my encounters of joy during the small interactions of music and knitting/crocheting.
Abbotsleigh's Visit to Roden Cutler Lodge
In August 2025, a few Abbotsleigh got to visit Gordon's Roden Cutler lodge from last year's immersion week experience.
They interacted with several seniors, including some that we recognised from immersion week, and presented a 'show and tell' activity with the residents!
